Our client is an Italian artisanal footwear brand specialising in women’s ballet flats within the contemporary luxury market. Defined by craftsmanship, timeless design, and understated elegance, the brand caters to a sophisticated international clientele. With a rapidly expanding global e-commerce presence, the brand is continuing its international growth with the opening of its new boutique in London.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Store Manager to join the opening team of the new boutique on Kings Road. The role will combine strong operational leadership with a highly client-centric approach, ensuring the boutique performs to the highest standards across service, sales, and presentation.

The Role:

Take full operational ownership of the boutique and oversee all day-to-day activities

Lead, motivate, and develop the team through effective coaching, supervision, scheduling, and performance management

Deliver and oversee an elevated end-to-end client experience, including styling, fitting, payment, packaging, and CRM sign-ups

Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, including VIP and high-profile clientele

Drive commercial performance and consistently achieve sales and KPI targets

Oversee e-commerce operations including order handling, quality control, dispatch, and returns management

Manage inventory control including deliveries, stock organisation, replenishment, and quality checks

Produce daily sales reports and monitor store performance

Lead all visual merchandising initiatives, including in-store presentation and window displays

Manage CRM activity and client communications

Oversee cash handling procedures and bank deposits

Support and coordinate in-store events and client engagement initiatives

Ensure the boutique is maintained to the highest operational and visual standards

Coordinate maintenance and emergency procedures when required

Manage opening and closing procedures

Demonstrate flexibility during peak trading periods and brand events

 

About you:

Previous management experience within luxury or premium retail

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team

Passion for luxury fashion, footwear, and elevated client experience

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Strong commercial awareness with a results-driven mindset

Experience working with KPIs, sales targets, and performance-based environments

Natural ability to build meaningful client relationships and deliver consultative selling

Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail

Strong alignment with the brand aesthetics and values

Fluent English required; additional languages are highly advantageous

 

The Package

£40,000+ Bonus per annum depending on experience
