An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cashier to join the luxury ladieswear team in Harrods. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering a seamless and elevated client experience, acting as the final point of contact in the customer journey. You will work closely with sales and client service teams to ensure all transactions are handled with precision, discretion, and efficiency, while upholding the highest standards of luxury service.
The Role
As a Cashier, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and secure transaction processing while supporting the wider team in delivering an exceptional in-store experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Driving an efficient and professional checkout experience aligned with luxury retail standards
Processing customer payments, including card, cash, and international payment methods
Handling high-value transactions with accuracy and discretion
Managing refunds, exchanges, and VAT/tax-related documentation where applicable
Completing end-of-day till reconciliation and reporting discrepancies in line with audit procedures
Supporting sales colleagues during peak trading periods
Maintaining a calm, discreet, and attentive approach when dealing with high-value purchases
Following all POS, financial, and operational procedures
Ensuring accuracy across pricing, receipts, and transaction records
Supporting wider store operations when required, particularly during busy periods
About You
The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail alongside experience in a premium or luxury retail environment.
You will demonstrate:
Previous experience in cashiering, sales support, or cash office roles
Experience handling high-value transactions in a fast-paced retail environment
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
A calm, organised, and professional approach under pressure
Excellent communication skills with a client-focused mindset
High levels of integrity and discretion
A collaborative team approach with a willingness to support colleagues
Flexibility to work shift patterns, including weekends and peak trading periods
Experience within luxury retail or concession environments is advantageous

Up to £43,000 per annum depending on experience
