Role Overview

The Assistant Store Manager supports the leadership of the store with a focus on precision, discretion, and excellence in execution. This role is instrumental in shaping a considered retail environment where client experience, product, and service are seamlessly aligned.

Working closely with the Store Manager, they ensure the space operates with clarity and purpose — commercially strong, yet refined in its delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the overall running of the store, ensuring operations are executed with consistency and attention to detail
  • Drive commercial performance through a measured and strategic approach
  • Maintain a clear focus on the client, delivering a highly personalised and elevated experience
  • Lead and support the team, fostering a calm, focused, and high-performing culture
  • Contribute to the development of team capability through thoughtful training and guidance
  • Uphold exceptional standards across store presentation and visual merchandising
  • Support the development of a loyal and engaged client base through considered clienteling
  • Identify opportunities to enhance store performance while maintaining brand integrity
  • Represent the brand with authenticity and quiet confidence

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Guide the team in delivering a seamless balance of service, product knowledge, and commercial awareness
  • Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across product, communication, and operations
  • Monitor performance with a focus on quality as well as results, using insight to inform action
  • Contribute to the delivery of KPIs through a structured yet adaptable approach
  • Support the execution of in-store initiatives and moments that feel relevant and intentional
  • Ensure consistency across all client touchpoints, both in-store and in collaboration with wider channels
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, including VIPs, with discretion and care
