At Four Seasons Recruitment, we're looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused Trainee Temps Controller to join our busy temporary recruitment team. You'll play a key role in supporting our consultants, coordinating temporary staff, managing bookings and ensuring our clients and candidates receive an exceptional service. With full training and ongoing support, this role provides a clear pathway into a Recruitment Consultant position.

The Role

This is a full-time opportunity for an organised and enthusiastic individual looking to take their first step into the recruitment industry. As a Trainee Temps Controller, you will support the temporary recruitment team by coordinating bookings, managing candidate availability and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. Working closely with experienced consultants, you'll receive comprehensive training and ongoing development, making this an ideal role for someone looking to progress into a Recruitment Consultant position in the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate temporary staff bookings and manage daily candidate schedules.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with temporary workers and clients.
  • Ensure all candidate compliance and onboarding documentation is completed accurately.
  • Process timesheets and assist with payroll administration.
  • Handle candidate enquiries, availability and booking confirmations.
  • Support consultants with the day-to-day administration of the temporary recruitment desk.
  • Maintain accurate records using the recruitment database and internal systems.
  • Deliver a professional, efficient and high level of customer service to both clients and candidates.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within an administrative, customer service or fast-paced office environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • An interest in recruitment, retail or fashion would be advantageous.
  • A genuine desire to build a long-term career within recruitment.
