The Role
This is a full-time Runner position based within a luxury retail boutique in London. Working closely with the Sales Associates and Floor Managers, you will play a key role in supporting the sales team by delivering impeccable packaging, maintaining boutique standards, and ensuring every client receives an exceptional luxury experience. As one of the final touchpoints in the customer journey, you'll be responsible for presenting purchases to the highest standard while ensuring the packaging area remains organised and fully stocked. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and package all purchases to the highest luxury standards, ensuring every item reflects the brand's exceptional attention to detail.
- Support the Sales Associates throughout the sales process, enabling them to focus on delivering an outstanding client experience.
- Manage packaging supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained and the packaging area remains clean, organised, and presentation-ready at all times.
- Welcome and assist clients where required, including offering refreshments to enhance the in-store experience.
- Provide cover for the Host team during breaks, holidays, or busy trading periods when required.
- Maintain the highest standards of boutique presentation and uphold the brand image through professional appearance and service.
- Work collaboratively with the wider boutique team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and an efficient client journey.
- Demonstrate flexibility by supporting additional operational tasks as required to meet the needs of the boutique.
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within a luxury retail or premium customer service environment is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a meticulous approach to presentation and packaging.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, welcoming manner.
- Professional appearance and understanding of luxury service standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment while maintaining discretion and composure.
