The Role
Working as part of a passionate retail team and reporting directly to the Store Manager, this role is ideal for a fashion-focused retail professional who enjoys building genuine client relationships, delivering an exceptional customer experience and taking ownership of the shop floor when required.
As a Key Holder, you will act as a strong brand ambassador, supporting the Store Manager with the smooth running of the store while providing a positive and inspiring presence for the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional, personalised customer experience through product knowledge, styling advice and relationship-led selling, while driving individual sales and contributing to store KPIs.
- Act as a passionate brand ambassador, representing the brand's personality and values while building strong client relationships and encouraging long-term loyalty within the local community.
- Support the day-to-day running of the store, including opening and closing procedures, store systems, transactions, returns, customer queries and handling sensitive situations professionally.
- Maintain excellent visual and operational standards across the store, including merchandising, stock presentation, replenishment and ensuring the stockroom remains organised.
- Support, train and coach the wider team, providing regular feedback and helping to create a positive, energetic and collaborative environment.
- Deliver engaging styling sessions, support promotional activity and events, and contribute to key commercial initiatives.
- Take responsibility for the store in the Store Manager's absence, ensuring customers receive an exceptional experience and the team remains motivated and focused.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in premium, contemporary or luxury fashion retail.
- Strong customer service, communication and selling skills, with a genuine passion for building client relationships.
- A confident and enthusiastic approach to fashion, styling and product, with an interest in creativity and the wider arts and culture space.
- Commercially aware, with an understanding of sales targets and retail KPIs.
- Previous Key Holder or supervisory experience would be advantageous.
- Confident working independently, taking responsibility and supporting a wider team.
- Professional, personable and proactive, with the ability to remain positive in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Flexible and available to work across store opening hours, including weekends and peak trading periods.
