As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll support the Store Manager in driving sales, leading the team, and delivering an exceptional luxury client experience. You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the boutique, combining strong leadership, operational excellence, and a passion for client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Inspire and motivate the team through strong leadership and clear direction
- Lead the store in the Store Manager’s absence
- Support team briefings, coaching, and ongoing development
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing culture
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
Client Experience & Business Development
- Deliver a personalised and elevated experience for every client
- Drive clienteling through outreach, appointments, loyalty building, and new client acquisition
- Build strong relationships with VIP and repeat clients
- Support CRM initiatives and identify opportunities to grow the client base
- Handle client enquiries professionally and efficiently
Operations & Store Standards
- Support the smooth running of daily store operations
- Assist with stock management, replenishment, and inventory control
- Ensure visual merchandising and presentation standards are maintained
- Oversee key back-office administration, reporting, and scheduling
- Maintain a polished and well-presented store environment
Sales & Performance
- Support the achievement of sales targets and KPIs through coaching and team motivation
- Help identify growth opportunities within the team
- Partner with the Store Manager on action plans to drive business growth
- Monitor performance and provide insight into sales opportunities and challenges
Brand Ambassador
- Maintain strong knowledge of the brand, products, and heritage
- Ensure the store consistently reflects the brand image and values
- Represent the brand at local events when required

Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 4–5 years’ experience in luxury retail management
- Proven success driving sales and business growth
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Confident using retail management systems and analysing performance data
- Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
