I am working exclusively with a fashion brand.

As the PR Assistant, you will be responsible for implementing the brand’s PR & Influencer strategy. 

The Role:

  • Placing press orders of salesman samples.
  • Preparing media kits.
  • During fashion week, organising the sending out and responses to press/show invites.
  • Assisting Ecomm team in e-comm shoot preparations, logistics, and model castings.
  • Managing press interns, including overseeing their recruitment and training.
  • Producing and executing influencer & press gifting programs for sign-off.
  • Liaising with stylists on sample availability. Working to distribute those samples to the correct agents and locations.
  • Arranging Shipping documents and approving samples to ship from the London studio.
  • Keeping a fully up-to-date log of all Press samples on a rolling basis via Fashion GPS.
  • Working with Ecomm team to align gifting and placement strategy so the business can monetize these activations.
  • Regularly review current stock and ensure the correct up-to-date season samples are in the correct locations (NYC and London) to be able to promote.
  • Keeping Press sample racks organized, and archiving previous seasons' samples.
  • Strengthening the brand’s network of influencers/brand ambassadors to help promote visibility within key markets.
  • Pushing new season in the lead-up to launch to ensure good marketing and content for Instagram and TikTok.
  • Monitoring, analysing, and communicating PR results monthly to Creative Directors.
  • Producing a weekly round-up for PR and editorial/press and presenting monthly.
  • Managing company gifting and FW front-row gifting and dressing.
  • Instagram Primary DM’S - Ensuring timely follow-up, effectiveness, and quality in communications.

About You:

  • Minimum 1 year of proven working experience in a press role required
  • Experience of relationships with media and stylists
  • A wide degree of creativity and resourcefulness, with a positive and professional approach.
  • Exceptional written and communication skills
  • Capable of handling multiple fast-paced tasks, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently
  • Experience acting as a company spokesperson
  • Professionally and personally mature person, with excellent interpersonal skills as well as the ability to manage and operate under tight deadlines.
