Commercial Director – Global Sales (Omni-Channel)

Core Mission

Build and scale the U.S. business, driving sustainable revenue growth while protecting and elevating a luxury market positioning.

Primary focus on Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) growth, with retail stores and trunk shows as key strategic growth channels.


Key Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy

  • Define and execute the U.S. go-to-market strategy across DTC retail (including pop-ups), concessions, wholesale and trunk shows.
  • Drive expansion in priority cities (NYC, LA, Miami, SF and other key luxury markets).
  • Increase global footprint strategically by leveraging appropriate sales channels and partnerships.
  • In collaboration with Founder/CMO, define and accelerate e-commerce growth.

Commercial Performance

  • Own the P&L for U.S. retail, wholesale and trunk show channels.
  • Set, lead and deliver sales targets; drive revenue growth across all channels.
  • Track and analyse KPIs including sales per sq ft, conversion, AOV and sell-through.

Retail Development

  • Identify and secure store locations in partnership with real estate agents.
  • Negotiate and manage landlord, mall and luxury department store relationships and contracts.
  • Lead all store opening processes including design project management, operational setup, recruitment and marketing alignment.
  • Oversee store operations including order fulfilment and contractual management.
  • Manage stock in conjunction with Planning & Merchandising.
  • Uphold visual merchandising standards in partnership with VM consultants.

E-Commerce Growth (depending on experience)

  • Develop and execute a North America e-commerce growth strategy in partnership with Founder/CMO.

Wholesale Growth

  • Drive selective wholesale and hospitality partnerships that expand global reach.
  • Negotiate commercial terms while safeguarding brand equity and luxury positioning.

Trunk Show Development

  • Define trunk show strategy in collaboration with the Head of Trunk Shows.
  • Balance revenue growth with controlled, strategic expansion and premium partner selection.

Operations & Logistics (depending on experience)

  • Oversee U.S. operations and logistics team.
  • Manage order fulfilment and 3PL/warehouse partnerships and contracts.
  • Own operational P&L management.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit and lead Store Managers and Head of Trunk Shows.
  • Ensure all contracts, compliance and legal requirements are met.
  • Conduct performance reviews and annual appraisals.
  • Train teams on luxury service standards, brand storytelling and product knowledge.

Brand Guardian

  • Ensure a consistent, elevated luxury experience across all touchpoints.
  • Collaborate closely with Creative, Marketing, Merchandising, Customer Experience and HQ teams.

Experience

  • 8–10 years’ experience within luxury fashion, beauty, watches, jewellery or lifestyle sectors.
  • Strong U.S. retail network and relationships.
  • Experience working with HNWI and VIP clienteling.
  • Proven track record of launching or scaling a brand.
  • Commercially sharp with strong brand sensitivity.
  • Passion for product and appreciation of craftsmanship and luxury goods.
  • Hands-on leader with both strategic and operational capability.
  • Data-driven and numerically confident.
  • Experience within a founder-led or start-up environment preferred.
