The Role
As Warehouse & Logistics Manager, you will take full responsibility for transportation coordination, warehouse performance, health & safety compliance, and continuous operational improvement. You will work closely with supply chain and logistics partners to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional service standards. This is a unique opportunity to lead the warehouse operation and implement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage transportation systems and coordinate with 3rd party logistics providers to optimise pick-up and delivery schedules.
- Oversee company vehicle maintenance and driver management in line with transport policies.
- Ensure all vehicles meet industry standards and haulage regulations.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations across warehouse operations.
- Manage and maintain health & safety audits, training, signage, and documentation.
- Control and replenish warehouse consumables within budget.
- Utilise Warehouse Management Systems and ERP systems to monitor stock levels, process orders, and generate operational reports.
- Manage the order book and ensure aging orders are proactively addressed.
- Implement continuous process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to streamline logistics workflows.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years’ management experience within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience managing and tracking collections and deliveries.
- Experience warehousing large / heavy / valuable / luxury goods is essential.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics management, and transport systems.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Outlook/Excel.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures.
- Forklift operation experience.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret P&L data for operational decisions.
- Proven ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives within a warehouse setting.
