Social Media & Content Associate – Pre-Owned Luxury watches & jewellery 
Location: City of London
Salary: £30,000–£32,000 + Benefits
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
Reports To: Managing Director

The Company
Our client is a leading retailer specialising in pre-owned luxury watches and new jewellery. With two Central London locations and a strong online presence, the business sells several thousand products annually and is recognised for its exceptional standards, premium service, and curated selection of high-end goods.

The Role
The Social Media & Content Associate will take a key role in shaping the company’s digital presence. Responsible for producing engaging visual and written content, the successful candidate will help attract new customers, enhance brand awareness, and drive growth across multiple social channels.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in the City of London, working directly alongside the Managing Director. The ideal candidate will be highly creative, visually driven, and confident in producing content independently, from filming and photography through to editing and copywriting. They will also support the broader marketing strategy by managing content calendars, scheduling posts, and delivering performance reports.

From time to time, the role will require travel to assist with on-site filming, promotional shoots, or content capture.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Social Media Management

  • Produce high-quality visual and written content for social platforms
  • Film, photograph, and edit content to professional standards
  • Manage content scheduling across all social channels
  • Monitor performance and report regularly on engagement and ROI
  • Maintain a consistent, refined aesthetic aligned with the brand’s luxury positioning

Marketing & Copywriting Support

  • Lead on corporate and customer-facing copywriting
  • Support the Managing Director in developing content strategies
  • Keep up to date with social media trends, formats, and best practices
  • Ensure messaging is accurate, engaging, and aligned with overall marketing objectives

Operational & On-Site Content Support

  • Attend shoots, events, or buying trips as needed to assist with filming
  • Work with internal teams to capture relevant content across the business
  • Help ensure brand storytelling remains compelling, consistent, and creatively executed

The Ideal Candidate

Experience


Essential:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing
  • Experience within the luxury goods sector
  • Strong copywriting background
  • Proven track record in producing both photo and video content
  • Familiarity with current social media trends, formats, and platform best practices
  • Competency with tools such as Canva, YouTube Studio, or similar

Desirable:

  • A strong interest or understanding of luxury watches and gemstones

  • Strong written and visual communication skills
  • Creative, proactive, and confident in taking ownership of content production
