Job Title: Senior Sales Associate – Luxury Retail
Location: London Flagship Store, Sloane Street 
Reports To: Store Manager

£32,000 plus individual Comission 

Monday-Saturday opening days 

Job Overview:
A prestigious luxury fashion retailer is seeking a highly experienced and sales-driven Senior Sales Associate to join its team at the London flagship store. Specialising in Ready-to-Wear and Made-to-Order services, this role is ideal for a dynamic individual with a strong background in managing VIP clientele (VICs), surpassing sales targets, and driving consistent business growth. The successful candidate will deliver an elevated and personalised shopping experience, represent the brand to the highest standards, and play a key role in client relationship management and revenue generation.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Clienteling

  • Drive sales performance through expert product knowledge and refined selling techniques across Ready-to-Wear and Made-to-Order categories.

  • Deliver a luxurious and personalised shopping experience, providing tailored styling advice based on individual client preferences.

  • Manage the full sales cycle for both new and existing clients, ensuring a seamless and premium service.

  • Leverage special events, launches, and client appointments to drive sales and showcase new collections.

  • Stay informed on industry trends and seasonal offerings to provide cutting-edge recommendations.

VIC Relationship Management

  • Maintain and grow a portfolio of Very Important Clients (VICs), providing regular, tailored communications and follow-ups.

  • Use personalised CRM tools to track purchase history, preferences, and special occasions, enhancing the clienteling experience.

  • Organise and attend exclusive events, trunk shows, and fittings to increase engagement and secure high-value transactions.

  • Proactively anticipate client needs, ensuring a consistently exceptional level of service and satisfaction.

Sales Leadership & Target Achievement

  • Demonstrate a proven ability to exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Identify and nurture new VIC prospects through outstanding service and relationship building.

  • Act as a mentor to junior sales associates, offering support and guidance in clienteling and sales techniques.

  • Contribute to the overall success of the store by setting and maintaining high performance standards.

Store Operations & Team Collaboration

  • Partner with store management to align sales strategies with overall brand goals.

  • Support visual merchandising efforts and uphold the store’s luxury aesthetic.

  • Collaborate with stock and inventory teams to ensure product availability and timely access to new collections.

  • Provide operational leadership during peak trading periods to maintain service excellence and client satisfaction.


Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in luxury retail, with a strong focus on VIC management and high-value sales.

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a high-end environment.

  • Expertise in Ready-to-Wear and Made-to-Order services, with the ability to deliver bespoke solutions.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and clienteling skills with the ability to build long-term relationships.

  • In-depth knowledge of luxury fashion, tailoring, and craftsmanship.

  • Highly organised, proactive, and commercially driven.

  • Polished, professional, and a true ambassador for the luxury retail experience.

  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and during peak periods as required.
