Position Title: Product Development and Production Assistant
Reports To: Production Manager
Location: London, on site
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary Range: £36,000 - £38,000 (dependent on experience)
Four Seasons Recruitment are looking for a highly organised Product Development & Production Assistant to support the development and production, for a luxury mens and womenswear brand. This role will work closely with the PD/Production Manager, Design team, and external manufacturers to ensure products move smoothly from sampling through to production, meeting company timelines, quality standards, and target margins.
Key Responsibilities
- Support seasonal product development and production cycles
- Raise and track fabric, trim and sample purchase orders
- Monitor sample development and delivery timelines
- Assist with garment specifications, CADs and development documentation
- Track pricing updates and maintain development and costing spreadsheets
- Process raw material orders and maintain production WIP trackers
- Coordinate pre-production samples, fittings and approvals
- Issue production orders to factories once approved
- Manage label placement documentation and care label information
- Process and track production invoices in collaboration with accounts
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure on-time delivery
- Support stock control and production administration
Skills & Experience
- 4+ years’ experience in luxury RTW product development or production
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of costing structures and garment construction
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD and Adobe
