Fashion Awareness Direct is a registered educational charity (Charity number 1112095).
At Four Seasons Recruitment we live and breath fashion. Our passion for the industry and our relationships with the people in it, is what makes us great at what we do. We see the struggle young people have breaking into the industry and fashion graduates reach out to us weekly for advice on how they can kick-start their careers. We are always transparent - it’s not an easy thing.
That is why we have partnered with Fashion Awareness Direct (FAD), a charity that works relentlessly to educate, mentor and ultimately help getting young people a job in fashion, as well as making the fashion industry more diverse. We believe that talented, hardworking young people should be able to access a career in fashion, regardless of their background or economic circumstances.
We are proud to support this fantastic charity and are excited to share our upcoming fundraising events with you.
By purchasing a £5 raffle ticket via this page you are automatically entered into a prize draw to win a brand new, 100% authentic, Mulberry bag! The more raffle tickets you get, the bigger chance of winning.
The money raised will be donated to FAD as part of the 'Big Give Christmas Challenge' that runs between 3rd-10th December 2019, which means our donation will be DOUBLED by a charity donor.
The raffle ends on the 9th December 2019.
FAD helps young people make it in the fashion industry. They work to campaign for fair access, improved diversity and better representation. Their two main projects are INTOFashion and Fashion Futures and they have helped more than 5,000 young people to date.
The INTOFashion programme offers masterclasses, mentoring and meet-ups for fashion graduates who are struggling to get into the industry. FAD manage their expectations to ensure they are best prepared to begin a career in fashion. Four Seasons Recruitment hold masterclasses in conjunction with FAD to assist with this preparation.
This is an award-winning, industry-focused fashion programme for creative Londoners aged 16-19. Fashion Futures is for everyone, but FAD gives priority to young people from backgrounds which are underrepresented in the fashion industry, including BME and low-income backgrounds.
The 'Fashion Futures Final' hits London Fashion Week every year in September, showcasing the youngest designers to show at Fashion Week.
FAD believes in having dreams, but we don’t do the fluffy kind. We offer a genuine insight into the fashion industry, making young people aware of the breadth of careers available, and helping them formulate realistic plans to achieve their ambitions.- Maria Alvarez, CEO and Founder FAD
