Our client is looking for a confident, friendly Retail Sales Assistant who thrives in a customer-facing environment and has a genuine love for design-led retail. You’ll be the welcoming face of the store, guiding customers through our client's curated selection and helping them find the perfect piece - whether for themselves or as a gift.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved in all aspects of the shop floor: maintaining visual standards, assisting with stock, and processing both in-store and online orders. A flair for gift wrapping is a bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a warm, welcoming environment
- Confidently guide customers through our product selection, sharing stories behind the brands
- Assist with tailored gift recommendations
- Maintain high visual merchandising standards
- Process in-store and online orders (Shopify experience is a plus)
- Wrap items beautifully and securely, especially fragile pieces
- Support stock management and replenishment
- Stay informed on product details and new arrivals
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture
Skills & Experience
- Previous retail experience, ideally in a boutique or design-led setting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Friendly, proactive, and confident approach
- Strong eye for detail and visual presentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Organised, flexible, and solution-oriented
- Gift wrapping skills appreciated
