Summertime in London

London Summertime

The Hive at Kew Gardens
The Hive is a unique structure, inspired by scientific research into the health of bees. Designed by UK based artist Wolfgang Buttress, it was originally created as the centrepiece of the UK Pavilion at the 2015 Milan Expo. The installation is made from thousands of pieces of aluminium which create a lattice effect and is fitted with hundreds of LED lights that glow and fade as a unique soundtrack hums and buzzes around you.

Swingers Golf
Swingers is based on a 1920’s golf-club set in the bucolic English countryside. Step into the secret world of our old-school clubhouse, rolling greens, lush foliage and unparalleled hospitality. The venue is just a stone’s throw from the Gherkin in the heart of London and comprises 16,000 square feet of socially competitive fun

Vogue pop-up cafe, Westfield
To toast British Vogue's landmark 100th birthday, the pop-up café will serve a specially created Vogue 100 champagne cocktail and a Vogue 100 punch, as well as a traditional English afternoon tea.

The Rhone Touch Exhibition
This exhibition is free to enter and features ten art installations, created by students from the art school that are inspired by the wines and invite guests to touch smell, hear and, even climb into the art pieces and experience a journey of the senses through the wines of the Rhône Valley. A pop-up bar will also allow guests to sample the wines of red, white or rosé in their full glory from £5 for a glass whilst enjoying the festival and Adam Rawson has created a speciality menu to pair with an exclusive range of Côtes du Rhône wines.

V&A: Undressed Exhibition
This exhibition explores the intimate relationship between underwear and fashion and its role in moulding the body to a fashionable ideal, with cut, fit, fabric and decoration revealing issues of gender, sex and morality.
