A Day in The Life of...Stephanie Jackson
My day starts at 8:30am with a strong coffee and a croissant; I need the early morning energy boost to negotiate huge department stores such as Harrods, where I spend so much of my time.
First things first - I check my planner and head to the 9.00am temp candidate starts. I love checking in with candidates as it’s the perfect chance to see how much they are enjoying their current placements and seeing how fabulous they look! This also gives me the opportunity to visit my clients and hear from their side how well our candidates are getting on.
After visiting all of the early shifts it’s now time to connect with the outside world and speak with the Four Seasons Recruitment office. I’ll usually grab yet another cappuccino and call the Temp Controllers in the office to update them on my morning’s activities.
Now time for another pit stop; lunch. I usually have a working lunch either grabbing a sandwich and catching up with another member of the Four Seasons team or something a little more luxe and leisurely; a working lunch with one of our clients.
A typical afternoon would be spent working on Business Development; introducing myself and the Four Seasons Recruitment business to potential new clients. I love this part of my role because I’m so passionate about what Four Seasons has to offer and relationship building is pivotal to my role.
Now time for a little glitz and glamour. The fab brands we work with so often have launch parties for a new store or collection and I am lucky enough to be on the guest list! I use these occasions for a little light networking, a glass of fizz and the opportunity to socialise with the great people I meet working in the industry.
Finally, I come home and collapse into a steaming hot bubble bath! On a typical day I can walk 15km around the streets of London (!) so I put my feet up guilt-free, preparing for the fun that tomorrow has in store.
