Fendi opened their new pop up in Harrods this month and the big talking point is the revival of the Baguette bag – arguably one of the most iconic bags in luxury. With this season’s trend moving away from the larger totes and the focus on smaller shoulder bags – Fendi has a vast range to choose from when selecting your Baguette.
Released in 1997 with more than a 1000 different versions created since then, the Baguette was the most covetable bag of the 90’s after it was worn regularly by Carrie in Sex and the City. This year has seen the release of the 3Baguette – Coinciding with the release earlier this year in New York, 5 celebrity designed 3Baguettes were auctioned off from stars such as Sarah Jessica Parker and Rihanna. Whilst in Harrods you are invited to design your own 3Baguette bag digitally using a tablet – the chosen design will win a one off Fendi 3Baguette.
