Very Exclusive, the new accessible luxury website launched today! Led by Managing director Sarah Curran, founder of My Wardrobe and her team including Head of Buying, Vikki Kavanagh, who joined from Harvey Nichols and Hugh Longland, who has held a number of roles at Shop Direct it is set to be a big success.
The sites sells women’s clothing, footwear, accessories and beauty products, and includes an accessible luxury arm offering diffusion and second lines from brands including Marc Jacobs, McQ, Red Valentino, Carven, Kenzo, See by Chloé, Vivienne Westwood Anglomania and J Brand. There is also a high street luxury division focusing on premium collections from retailers such as Reiss
Very Exclusive aims to bring mid-market luxury labels to a new consumer. "There is definitely a girl out there who shops on the high street and is maybe a bit intimidated by luxury stores, or even websites. She wants to buy special pieces when she falls in love with them, and I think the brands we have will really speak to that girl" explains Curran.
Shoppers can buy and pay immediately, just as they would on any online boutique, but the Very Exclusive USP hinges on its "take three" payment plan, allowing shoppers to pay in three monthly installments as seen on very.co.uk. The site will also provide a rich editorial experience that will guide women through the season's collections, trends and key looks.
We’ve had a look at the website and it looks great. We love the inspiration pages where it shows examples of how people are wearing the trends on the high street along with related items you can buy from the site.
