s that time of the year again when celebrities around the world, fashionistas, fashion gurus and top designers are all excitingly prepared for London Fashion Week. It is one of the biggest fashion events in the world as designers get to showcase their latest exhibition on the catwalk.
On Friday 14th September, we were invited to preview the Jean-Pierre Braganza collaboration with Ukrainian artist Zinaida Lihacheva SS13 collection named Phoentheus at Somerset House for London Fashion Week. Born in London but, raised in Canada and having graduated at Central Saint Martin, Jean-Pierre Braganza is known for his dark and edgy collection inspired by the human anatomy. However, this season the fabrics were light and perfectly tailored with modern strikes of eye catching brush strokes. Many of his pieces were classic forms with futuristic elements and abstract prints with the models having striking azure blue eye make-up. Braganza’s ready to wear collection was flattering yet practical, designed for the strong aesthetic everyday women.
He did not fail to disappoint the crowd as most eyes were upon his collection adding them on to their wish list whilst clapping.

Later on in the evening Cristina and Ange also attended the Eley Kishimoto, Living with Patterns exhibition at The Aram Gallery. Eley Kishimoto work has been seen on many catwalks in collaboration with Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen and Alber Elbaz to name but a few.
The exhibition was buzzing with exciting people and we were so delighted to be able to preview some of the pieces at the gallery.
